Connect your WordPress site to TGLiveChat and reply to visitors directly from Telegram. No extra inbox needed.

== Description ==

TGLiveChat is the most frictionless way to handle customer support. Instead of logging into a clunky dashboard to reply to visitors, this plugin routes all website chats directly into your Telegram account (or a group).

When a visitor messages you on your website, you instantly get a Telegram message. You reply in Telegram, and the visitor receives it on the website.

* **Zero learning curve:** Reply to customers just like you text your friends.
* **Fast & Lightweight:** The widget is zero-dependency and isolated in a Shadow DOM. It will not slow down your site (adds ~10KB) and avoids CSS conflicts.
* **Team Support:** Route chats into a Telegram group with "Topics" enabled, and your entire team can collaborate and reply to visitors from their own devices.

**Important:** This plugin acts as an installer for the TGLiveChat widget. You must have an active account at [tglivechat.com](https://tglivechat.com) to use the service. All visual settings (colors, theme, custom wording) are configured in the TGLiveChat dashboard.

== Installation ==

1. Keep it simple: Install and activate the plugin directly from your WordPress dashboard by searching for `TGLiveChat`.
2. Go to **Settings > TGLiveChat**.
3. Click "Connect Account" and log in to your TGLiveChat dashboard.
4. Select the widget you want to embed.
5. Save your settings. The chat widget will automatically appear on your website!

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does this slow down my website? =
No. The TGLiveChat script is extremely lightweight (~10KB gzipped) and loads asynchronously (`async defer`), meaning it will never block your page from rendering.

= How do I change the color of the chat widget? =
All visual configuration is done from your TGLiveChat dashboard. You do not need to edit any code or configure colors in WordPress.

= Do I need a Telegram account? =
Yes! The core feature of TGLiveChat is routing your website visitor conversations into Telegram. You or your team must use Telegram to reply to them.
