Acceptable Use Policy

1. What TGLiveChat Is For

TGLiveChat is a live chat tool that lets website owners receive visitor messages in Telegram. It's designed for legitimate businesses, freelancers, and developers who want to respond to real customer inquiries from their phone.

You may use TGLiveChat for any lawful business purpose, including customer support, sales inquiries, lead capture, appointment booking, and general visitor assistance.

2. Prohibited Uses

You may not use TGLiveChat to:

• –Send unsolicited messages or spam to visitors
• –Collect personal data beyond what is needed for the chat interaction, or without a lawful basis
• –Operate phishing pages, fraud schemes, or impersonation scams
• –Facilitate illegal activity of any kind
• –Harass, threaten, or abuse users
• –Distribute malware, viruses, or malicious code
• –Circumvent rate limits, abuse the API, or attempt to damage platform infrastructure
• –Embed the widget on sites that promote hate speech, violence, or illegal content
• –Resell access to TGLiveChat services in a way that violates these terms
• –Use the service to violate Telegram's own Terms of Service or Bot API usage policies

3. Widget Placement

You are responsible for where you embed the TGLiveChat widget. We reserve the right to deactivate widgets found on sites that violate this policy, without prior notice.

Widgets must not be embedded on pages that collect payment or personal information through deceptive means, or on pages that impersonate other businesses or individuals.

4. Data Responsibilities

When visitors submit their name, email, or messages through your widget, you become a data controller for that information. You are responsible for:

• –Having a privacy policy on your site that discloses the use of live chat
• –Obtaining any consent required under applicable law (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
• –Not using visitor data for purposes beyond the original chat interaction without their consent

5. Telegram API Compliance

TGLiveChat routes messages through the Telegram Bot API. Your use of TGLiveChat is also subject to Telegram's Terms of Service and Bot API terms. We are not affiliated with Telegram and cannot guarantee continued access to the Telegram API — see our Terms of Service for details.

6. Enforcement

We monitor for abuse patterns including high-volume misuse, reports from visitors, and platform anomalies. Violations of this policy may result in:

• –Immediate suspension of your account and all associated widgets
• –Permanent termination without refund if the violation is severe
• –Reporting to relevant authorities where required by law

7. Changes to This Policy
